GH Motorcycles started trading in November 1984 from a small shop in Barrack Street Colchester and specialising in 125cc & under and off road bikes. We later extended the range to include almosts all types of two wheel machines but, by 2000, had returned to our true specialism,
OFF-ROAD.
Gavin Hockey, the company's Managing Director, still competes in enduro & motocross on a regular basis, although he now employs the talents of younger riders for his OFF-ROAD race team! Gavin has competed at British Championship level for Enduro, winning a number titles - so he is truly qualified to understand and meet your OFF-ROAD requirements. GH Motorcycles will continue to support you, whether you race through the season or simply ride for fun.

In The Very Very Beginning ! | |||
This was where it all started back in the early eighties - at Hunters Chase Ardleigh in small out-building. Gavin started repairing mopeds and bikes, such as Yamaha FS1Es ,AP50s and SS50s for the local people. Soon afterwards, he became involved in schoolboy moto-x having his first race at Latchingdon with the E.A.S.S.C.

| Gavin Hockey, Managing Director Gavin Hockey is the managing director and founder of the shop and has been running it for over 20 years now, so has plenty of experience in the business. He also has plenty of personal experience riding Enduro for the majority of those 20 years in Eastern Centre and British Enduro rounds as well as events such as Le Touquet Beach Race and the ISDE. Gavin is you main reference with any general enquiries about the business as well as being here to assist with any sales or other enquiries you may have. |

| James Antrobus, Part Time Helper You'll see James on saturdays and the odd week day afternoon helping out with prety much anything. Although his main jobs include managing the website, managing the eBay shop, a few other IT related things as well as keeping the shop nice and tidy. |
Andy Quorn, Part-Time Salesman Andy will be in on the odd day when he can find the time to give us a hand. He'll be able to help you with any sales enquires and is speaking from experience having recently won the Eastern Center Enduro Championship Clubman Class on his Husqvarna WR-250. |
